Established in 1996 as a consultation and diagnostic center named Al-Manar Medical Services, Al-Manar Hospital has grown into a renowned healthcare institution serving the people of Bangladesh.

Humble Beginnings:

The journey began in a rented house on 2/3 Mirpur Road, Asad Gate, offering essential medical services. Later, Al-Manar Hospital expanded into a 10-bed indoor hospital in a rented three-story building in Lalmatia F Block, adjacent to the kazi office.

Expansion and Growth:

In August 2006, Al-Manar Hospital acquired land at Plot-2466, Block-E, Sat Masjid Road, Mohammadpur, Dhaka 1207. On this land, a 17-story building was constructed, housing a 60-bed hospital with modern diagnostic facilities and a consultation center. Today, the hospital boasts 150 beds across two buildings, providing comprehensive healthcare services.

Legal Status and Recognition:

From July 1996 to April 2012, Al-Manar Hospital operated as a private limited company. In May 2012, it elevated to public limited company status and is registered under the Bangladesh Joint Stock Company and Forms. The hospital is also registered and licensed by DG Health Services Bangladesh, the National Board of Revenue (NBR), and Dhaka City Corporation.

Current Operations and Workforce:

Comprising two owned and five rented buildings, Al-Manar Hospital is dedicated to providing quality healthcare services with a team of 850 dedicated professionals.

Nursing Education:

Al-Manar Hospital's Riverview Nursing College offers four nursing courses, contributing to the development of skilled nurses in the country.
